What are the primary reasons hospitals decide to work with a recruitment company?
Most hospitals choose to work with recruitment companies because international recruitment is not their core competence. They do not want to create an internal department to handle and monitor the licensure, immigration, education of in-house staff, clinical transition of foreign nurses, and social and cultural transition of the nurse and their families.
Is selecting an experienced recruitment company important?
Yes, very important. Many of the aspects of the international nurse recruitment process are learned through trial and error. Experienced companies should use their experience to build its infrastructure, prepare the nurses and receiving hospitals. How does the process work?
Once we have received your resume or application, copies of professional certificates, references and completed skills checklist, we initiate placement efforts on your behalf based on your interests. When we have located the position right for you, we set up a telephone interview with you and the facility. When the position has been offered and accepted, we begin managing your transition including document gathering, assistance with professional registration, housing arrangements, coordination of pre-employment compliances right through your first day instructions.
How long are the assignments?
A typical travel assignment is for 13 - 26 weeks, some as short as 4 - 8 weeks. We also offer permanent placement opportunities and we can arrange travel assignments with the option to cross over to permanent employment following completion of the assignment.
What are the experience requirements to work as a travel nurse for INRSI?
